What is Telehealth / Televideo?
Understanding Secure Virtual Mental Health Care
Telehealth, also known as televideo, allows established patients to receive ongoing mental health care through secure video appointments. Virtual visits provide a convenient way to stay connected with your provider for follow-up care, medication management, treatment discussions, and ongoing psychiatric or psychological support without traveling to the office.
Telehealth offers flexibility while helping patients maintain continuity in their care. Depending on your provider and clinical needs, virtual appointments may be used alongside in-person visits as part of your ongoing treatment.
Our practice uses Doxy.me for televideo appointments. The platform can be accessed using a smartphone with a camera or a computer with a webcam.
New patients must attend their first appointment in person. Once you are an established patient, you may have the option to use televideo for subsequent appointments when appropriate.
